Terms and Conditions for long tours ( more than 5 days) :

 

By submitting your payment for any tour, (more than 5 days) including all activities and attractions, you are accepting these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

Contract

1.1: These general conditions of contract govern the contractual relationship between you and Loire Valley Usa in respect of guided tours organized by us.

1.2: Contract is concluded once Loire Valley Usa has accepted a booking you have made in writing (letter, email or via the internet) or by telephone.

 Loire Valley Usa  (LVUSA)

2.1: Loire Valley Usa is the trading name for the services offered by Loire Valley Stay.com

2.2: Loire Valley Usa  is based at: 8 rue de la Brisse 41100 Thoré la Rochette, France Tel: +33 (0) 6 17 82 83 52

2.3: Loire Valley Usa  trades under the French Laws

2.4: Services offered byLoire Valley Usa  are subject to French Laws. Any disputes arising from the provision of these services will be dealt with under French Laws


Terms of payment for customized tours

3.1:  payment of 100% of the total tour price for customized tours is required (after you have agreed on your customized tour) to secure your place on the customized tour.

3.2: In the event of non-payment of total price, we will not guarantee your place on a tour and reserve the right to cancel the booking.

3.3:  Payments may only be made in Euros, either by money transfer or credit / debit card.

3.4: We reserve the right to change prices without notice in response to tax changes, additional costs or other operational reasons until and unless a tour is paid in full.

By submitting your payment for any tour, including all activities and attractions, you are accepting these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

Cancellation and refunds

4.1: Refunds of the payment for cancelled customized tours will be made on the following basis –

Cancellation received and acknowledged by LVUSA:

4.2:  Up to 4 weeks before the booked tour date: total  refund (80% of tour cost) for customized tours

4.3:  3 weeks  before the booked tour date: (50% of tour cost) for customized tours

4.4:  2 weeks before the booked tour date: (20% of tour cost) for customized tours

4.5: Less than 1 week before the booked date (10% of tour cost) for customized tours

4.6: Refunds will be made via Authorized.net and all charges relating to payment and refund will be borne by the client.

4.7: Any unadvised reduction in numbers on the date of the tour will not alter the fee for the booked tour already calculated.

No show / late arrival

5.1: In the event of a late arrival the duration of the tour will be reduced accordingly. After being late for two days, without communication in writing, with LVUSA, it will be assumed you will not be turning up for your tour.

5.2: If the client for the booked tour does not arrive then LVUSA will: Make no refund

6:  Programme alterations or cancellation of a tour by LVUSA

6.1: Tour programmes may be altered in unforeseeable circumstances. LVUSA do all it can to offer alternative, equally satisfactory arrangements or another solution in such cases.

6.2: LVUSA is entitled to cancel tours in cases of force majeure (e.g. natural catastrophes, unrest, strikes) or in the event of government action, accidents, technical defects, illness, etc. Amounts already paid to LVUSA  will be reimbursed but no compensation or out of pocket expenses will be paid


Terms and Conditions for Scheduled long tours (more than two days)

3.1:  A deposit of 20% of the total tour price for scheduled long tours (more than two days) is required (after you have agreed on your tour to secure your place on the scheduled long tour.

3.2: In the event of non-payment of 20% of the total tour price, we will not guarantee your place on a tour and reserve the right to cancel the booking.

3.3: Payments may only be made in Euros, either by money transfer or credit / debit card.

3.4: We reserve the right to change prices without notice in response to tax changes, additional costs or other operational reasons until and unless a tour is paid in full.

3.5: The balance of the scheduled long tours shall be made at the latest 3 weeks before departure date

4: Cancellation and refunds for  scheduled long tours

4.1: Refunds of the payment for cancelled  scheduled long tours will be made on the following basis –

Cancellation received and acknowledged by LVUSA:

5: Up to 6 weeks before the booked tour date: total  refund (50% of tour deposit)  for the scheduled long tours

5.1: 3 weeks  before the booked tour date: (assuming the tour has been paid in full) ((50% of tour cost) for scheduled long tours

5.2: 2 weeks before booked tour date (assuming the tour has been paid in full) (20% of tour cost) for scheduled long tours

5.3: 1 week before booked tour date (assuming the tour has been paid in full) (0% of tour cost) for scheduled long tours

4.2: Refunds will be made via Authorized.net and all charges relating to payment and refund will be borne by the client.

4.3: Any unadvised reduction in number of days, on the date of the tour will not alter the fee for the booked tour already calculated.

4.3: Client have the possibility to be replaced by another person up to one day prior to the start of the scheduled long tours at no additional cost.

 No show / late arrival

5.2: If the client for the booked tour does not arrive then LVUSA will: Make no refund

 Participation

7.1: Our exclusive tours are organised for up to a maximum 8 guests. Clients who book one or two places should be aware that additional guests may join your group.

7.2: For the benefit of everyone LVUSA reserves the right to accept or reject any tour participant and to remove any client whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of other clients, the public, suppliers or staff. LVUSA will not refund or cover any cost or expenses incurred for termination of tour arrangements due to unacceptable behaviour.

Travellers Who Need Special Assistance on Tours :

8: You must report any disability requiring special attention while on tour to Loire Valley Wine Tour at the time the reservation is made. LVUSA will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of disabled travellers, but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so nor responsible for any denial of services by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers. LVUSA cannot provide individual assistance to clients for walking, dining, getting on and off vehicles, or other personal needs. LVUSA strongly recommends a qualified and physically able companion must accompany travellers who need such assistance. All travellers with LVUSA are subject to the Participation clause above.

 Liability

9: LVUSA co-ordinates and arranges the numerous and various services of sub-contractors and vendors before and during a tour. This includes restaurants, activity providers and the owners of vineyards, chateaux ,gardens and other attractions visited. Any and all persons or companies engaged in conducting such support services are NOT employees of LVUSA. Therefore, LVUSA  assumes no liability whatsoever for any loss or accident, loss or damage of personal property, delays, inconveniences, expenses of any kind or injury to the persons traveling on the tour. Additionally, LVUSA is not responsible for the default or negligence caused by any person or company engaged in providing any service for a tour, or by any strike, work stoppage, acts of Providence, weather or other events beyond our control LVUSA reserves the right to cancel or alter any tour when circumstances demand or require.opportunitto taste these wines, look at the production facilities and often meet the owners. As enthusiasts ourselves, we make a point of seeking out the best.

All clients are advised to purchase travel insurance if they think they may need to cancel their trip.
